Vienna: Musician Naseer Shamma took center stage in Vienna for a significant humanitarian concert under the auspices of Dr. Barham Salih, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. The event was held to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the 1951 Refugee Convention.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Shamma performed a series of unique musical compositions during the event. He shared his pride in being a part of this humanitarian occasion on his official Instagram account, highlighting the importance of supporting refugees globally.

At the conclusion of the celebration, the UNHCR honored Shamma with a plaque to acknowledge his voluntary participation. The funds collected from this concert are intended to aid the UNHCR’s initiatives in refugee care, a cause that Shamma has fervently supported through his involvement in numerous events dedicated to humanitarian efforts worldwide.
