Middle Euphrates Operations Command Plans Security for Prophet Muhammad’s Martyrdom Commemoration


Najaf: The Middle Euphrates Operations Command of the Popular Mobilization Forces convened a crucial meeting to strategize the security measures for the upcoming commemoration of the martyrdom of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting took place at the combat division headquarters in Najaf, led by prominent figures including the Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations, Yasser al-Issawi, and Middle Euphrates Operations Commander, Ali al-Hamdani. Also present were the Imam Ali (AS) Division Commander, Taher al-Khaqani, brigade commanders, officers, and several security sector officials.



The media office of the Imam Ali (AS) Division, responsible for hosting the meeting, revealed that the primary focus was on crafting a comprehensive security plan. This plan aims to ensure the smooth management of pilgrims and safeguard vital areas and sites during the event. The meeting emphasized enhancing coordination among the participating units and assigning specific tasks and duties to achieve these objectives.
