Baghdad: With the participation of eight fire engines, the Civil Defense extinguished a fire inside a carpentry workshop in central Baghdad. Civil Defense teams extinguished a fire that broke out early Monday morning inside a carpentry workshop in the Alawi area of central Baghdad.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Civil Defense Directorate stated in a press release: “Eight specialized fire trucks and other support vehicles participated in the containment and extinguishing operations, successfully controlling the blaze and preventing its spread to neighboring buildings.”

The statement added: “The fire resulted in no injuries, and the damage was limited to material losses.”
