Baghdad: The Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) have clarified that the fake headquarters identified by the Ministry of Interior, whose operators falsely claimed affiliation with the PMF, have no connection whatsoever to the organization.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the PMF stated that the procedures for closing and monitoring these headquarters were part of an operation conducted by the General Directorate of Security and Discipline within the PMF. This operation was carried out under the auspices of the Permanent Committee for Weapons Control, which was established by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.

The PMF has affirmed its commitment to continuous monitoring and addressing of such cases. It also emphasized its dedication to taking the necessary legal and administrative actions against anyone attempting to impersonate the organization or exploit its name.
