Diyala: A joint security force from the Diyala Police and National Security detachments arrested a man and two women on charges of blackmailing men. According to National Iraqi News Agency, the joint security force apprehended the trio, who were part of a gang that lured men, detained them in a house, filmed them, and then extorted money by threatening to release the videos.

The arrest was executed after a carefully planned ambush, during which the suspects were caught demanding 75 million Iraqi dinars from a citizen in exchange for not publishing compromising videos. The accused have been handed over to the National Security Directorate for further legal proceedings.
