Babylon: A young man committed suicide by shooting himself in the Musayyib district, located north of Hillah, the capital of Babylon Governorate. The incident occurred when the 18-year-old used his father’s pistol to shoot himself inside a birdcage at his home.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Colonel Ammar al-Shammari, the Babylon Police Media Director, confirmed the details of the incident. The police have transferred the body to the forensic medicine department and have initiated an investigation to understand the circumstances surrounding the event.
