Munich: Bayern Munich announced that their English striker, Harry Kane, has won the European Golden Shoe award for the 2025-2026 season.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the German club stated in a press release today: “The title of top scorer in Europe returns to Bayern Munich thanks to Harry Kane, who will receive the Golden Shoe award for the second time in his career, having previously won it in 2024.”

Kane thus joins the list of players who have won the Golden Shoe twice, an achievement surpassed only by Lionel Messi with six wins and Cristiano Ronaldo with four wins. Kane scored 36 goals in the Bundesliga, the same number that earned him the award two years ago.

The English striker’s goals contributed to Bayern Munich winning several titles last season, including the Bundesliga, the German Cup, and the German Super Cup. The award is scheduled to be presented to Harry Kane during a ceremony at the Bayern Munich Museum in the Allianz Arena on August 19.
