Baghdad: The Council of Ministers approved the 2026-2029 government program and referred it to the Council of Representatives on Tuesday.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the Media Office of the Prime Minister announced in a statement that the Council of Ministers has approved the 2026-2029 government program. This decision was made in accordance with the provisions of Article 38, Paragraph One, of the Amended Rules of Procedure of the Council of Ministers No. 2 of 2019. The program has now been referred to the Council of Representatives for further consideration.
