Baghdad: Iraqi doctor Hazha Abdullah was awarded the rank of Professor in cancer on Wednesday: She has become the first woman in the country to attain this prestigious academic title in this specialized field, according to the reporter of the Iraqi News Agency – INA.

According to Iraqi News Agency, The medical and academic communities in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq have witnessed an unprecedented historical achievement with Dr. Hazha Abdullah’s attainment of the rank of Professor in cancer. Dr. Hazha Abdullah is the first woman in the country to receive this high academic title in this specialized field.
