Lombok: One person died and 172 were rescued after a fire broke out on a ferry in Indonesia. Indonesian authorities rescued 172 people on Wednesday after a fire erupted on a ferry traveling from the tourist island of Bali in waters off the coast of Lombok. The search continues for any other missing passengers.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Muhammad Haryadi, head of the local rescue agency, stated that the ferry, K.M. Putri Yasmin, had departed from Padangbai port in Bali and was bound for Lempar port in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara province.
