Baghdad: The Ministry of Interior has announced the upcoming opening of applications for the 73rd course at the First Police College in Baghdad and the Second Police College in Basra. Applications will be submitted electronically through a form available on the Ministry of Interior’s official website, starting Thursday, August 13, 2026.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Directorate of Volunteering at the Ministry of Interior has called upon secondary school graduates from all branches, including scientific, literary, industrial, and commercial, to prepare the necessary documents and paperwork. These requirements will be detailed in the terms and conditions that are set to be officially released.

The Directorate has emphasized the importance of accuracy when entering information into the electronic form. Applicants are allowed to choose between applying to either the First or Second Police College, but are not permitted to apply to both institutions concurrently.
