Baghdad: Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Ali Faleh al-Zaidi, has declared that the decision to conclude the international coalition’s mission in Iraq on September 30th is final and irreversible.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, during a meeting of the National Security Council, the Prime Minister highlighted the need to strengthen the rule of law, improve security and military institutions, and ensure economic and social stability. These measures aim to preserve the state’s prestige and enhance citizens’ trust in their official institutions.

The spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Sabah al-Nu’man, stated that the meeting also addressed regional developments and emphasized the importance of actions to protect Iraq’s supreme interests and promote stability. The Prime Minister reiterated the necessity of implementing robust security plans to support internal stability and national sovereignty.
