Baghdad: President Nizar offered his condolences to the Islamic nation on Wednesday, on the anniversary of the death of the Prophet (PBUH), while stressing that drawing inspiration from prophetic values strengthens the unity of society and consolidates compassion and peace.

According to Iraqi News Agency, Amedi said in a tweet on the “X” platform, which was monitored by the agency: “On the anniversary of the death of the Messenger of Humanity and Seal of the Prophets and Messengers, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), we extend our deepest condolences to the Iraqi people and the Islamic nation on this sorrowful occasion.”

He added: “On this anniversary, we recall his noble life, his great humanitarian approach, and the values of mercy, justice, tolerance, brotherhood, and the preservation of human dignity established by his eternal message.”

He continued: “We invoke these noble values, for we are in dire need of drawing inspiration from them to strengthen our unity and the cohesion of our society, to consolidate a culture of compassion and peace, and to work for a homeland where justice prevails and the dignity of all its citizens is preserved.”
