Speaking at the conclusion of the Russian Pacific Fleet exercises, Putin highlighted the violations of international maritime law by certain countries attempting to restrict the movement of Russian ships. He described these actions as piracy and theft, warning that Russia would be compelled to respond similarly.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Putin’s remarks underscore the growing tensions in the Pacific region, exacerbated by Western actions. He noted the increased presence of NATO, the formation of new military-political alliances, and the deployment of advanced weapons systems as significant threats to Russia. Putin reassured that Russia harbors no aggressive intentions towards Japan, despite Tokyo’s recent decision to list Moscow as a major threat.
