Baghdad: The Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Farhad Amin Atroushi, extended heartfelt condolences to the Iraqi people and the global Muslim community on the anniversary marking the death of the Seal of the Prophets and Messengers, Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family and companions).

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Atroushi expressed his sorrow in a public statement, emphasizing the significance of the occasion. “With feelings of sorrow and grief, and with humble hearts, we commemorate today the death of the Seal of the Prophets and Messengers, our master and prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family and companions), the first teacher who brought humanity out of darkness into light and established the values of truth, justice, and mercy,” he stated.

Further conveying his sentiments, Atroushi remarked on the importance of this occasion for the Muslim community, saying: “On this sorrowful occasion, we extend our deepest condolences and sympathies to the entire Muslim world and the people of our noble nation, asking God Almighty to keep us steadfast in following his path and noble example, and to bless our country with security, stability, and prosperity.”
