Nineveh: Nineveh Governor Abdul Qadir al-Dakhil, in collaboration with the President of the Nineveh Court of Appeals, Judge Raed Hamid al-Musleh, and with the presence of security leaders and officials from the Roads and Bridges Authority, Customs, and the Oil Police, has been discussing strategic measures to enhance the province’s revenues. The focus has been on developing local resources through key infrastructures such as the Rabia border crossing and the al-Sadd Customs Control, with an emphasis on improving oversight to prevent resource wastage and manipulation.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Governor al-Dakhil stated that the meeting also aimed at addressing the ongoing gasoline crisis in the province. Efforts are being made to ensure a consistent supply to meet the needs of citizens, alongside regulating distribution processes and implementing stringent oversight at gas stations to prevent violations or exploitation.

Al-Dakhil highlighted the importance of developing local resources and safeguarding revenues as top priorities for the local government. He stressed the necessity of ongoing coordination among relevant authorities to maintain efficient operations and safeguard the rights of citizens in the province.
