Baquba: A woman was killed and another person was injured in a family dispute northeast of Baquba, the capital of Diyala Governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a police source reported that the dispute took place in a village in the Khanaqin district. The conflict escalated to the use of weapons, resulting in the death of a woman and injuries to another individual.

The source further stated that security forces quickly established a cordon in the area. They have initiated a search and investigation operation to pursue those involved in the incident.
