Baghdad: Two professors at the Iraqi University have published a joint book titled “Modern Technologies and Their Impact on Crimes Against Public Morality.” The book has been released by the Academic Center for Publishing and Distribution and is co-authored by Dr. Abbas Qasim Mohammed, the Head of the Media Unit at the College of Administration and Economics, and Dr. Kuljin Ali Akbar, a Professor of Criminal Law at the same college.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the book explores a critical legal issue concerning the swift advancement of modern technologies and the emergence of new methods for committing crimes against public morality. It delves into the legal and legislative responses to these crimes in the context of rapid technological progress.

The publication is a part of the scholarly contributions of the faculty members at the College of Administration and Economics. It aims to enrich the legal library with research topics addressing new challenges that technological advancements pose to the legal system.
