Baghdad: The Chief of Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah, emphasized today, Thursday, the importance of adhering to military directives and orders and fulfilling duties.
According to Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Defense stated in a press release that Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah received several commanders, including the Commander of the 20th Division, Major General Mazen Mu’ayyad Al-Aboudi; the Commander of the 1st Division, Major General Dhargham Abdul Khader Jassim; the Commander of the 5th Division, Major General Haider Mohammed Hatem; and the Commander of the 22nd Commando Division, Major General Ahmed Qasim Hussein. The meeting marked the occasion of their assuming new duties and positions and was also attended by the Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations and the Commander of the Ground Forces.
The Chief of Staff welcomed the commanders and expressed his wishes for their success in their new roles. He highlighted the importance of raising performance levels, enhancing professional work, and consolidating the spirit of responsibility to contribute to the military institution’s development and readiness. Yarallah stressed the necessity of continuing to work as one team, adhering to military directives and orders, and making maximum efforts to carry out their entrusted duties, thereby enhancing the country’s security and stability.
