Baghdad: The Ministry of Oil emphasized today the necessity of adhering to the established timelines and schedules for project implementation.
According to Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry stated that the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil for Extraction Affairs, Naseer Aziz Jabbar, met with the Director General of EPS-Zhenhua Oil Company, Ma Chang. They discussed the latest developments in the East Baghdad South field and the Qurnain Block, and followed up on ongoing development plans and projects.
The Undersecretary highlighted the importance of the East Baghdad South field and the Qurnain Block in supporting the Ministry’s plans aimed at developing the fields and increasing production. He emphasized the need to adhere to the established timelines and schedules and to expedite project implementation to achieve production and development goals.
The Undersecretary also noted the Ministry of Oil’s commitment to strengthening relationships with international oil companies, supporting their operations, and providing a suitable environment for implementing their programs. This approach aims to solidify cooperation and partnership and contribute to the development of the oil sector. The company’s general manager presented a briefing on the latest developments in the development and implementation plans in the East Baghdad South field and the Al-Qarnain area. He reviewed the most prominent current and future projects and activities, stressing the company’s keenness to enhance cooperation and coordination with the Ministry of Oil in a way that supports the development of the fields and increases production.
