Chamchamal: An earthquake measuring 3.9 on the Richter scale was recorded in Chamchamal, Sulaymaniyah. The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported that the earthquake occurred early this morning in the Chamchamal district of Sulaimaniyah Governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the earthquake’s depth was recorded at 10.6 kilometers below the Earth’s surface. About three hours after the initial tremor, residents of Chamchamal reported experiencing another tremor.
