Basra: The Minister of Oil, Bassem Mohammed Khudair, inaugurated a new health center in the Al-Hawta area of the Shatt al-Arab district. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Basra Governor Asaad Al-Eidani.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the minister highlighted that the opening of this health center is a part of the social benefits program. He praised the collaboration between the Ministry of Oil and the local government, emphasizing that the services being provided to Basra are considered a national duty towards the province.

The minister further announced an agreement to construct a cancer treatment center in the Al-Muqbila area. He stated that the land has been prepared, and coordination with the province has been completed to move forward with this project.
