Baghdad: The Ministry of Youth and Sports has officially denied any involvement in organizing a concert for artist Tamer Hosny in Baghdad. This follows the circulation of an announcement on social media bearing the ministry’s logo, promoting the event.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ministry clarified that the promotional material for the concert, which misused its logo, was not authorized by them. They emphasized that they have not been involved in the organization or promotion of the concert, nor have they approved the use of their logo in any related announcements.

In their statement, the ministry advised citizens to only trust information and announcements released through their official channels. They also urged the public to avoid engaging with unofficial pages or links that misuse the ministry’s name or logo without confirmation from official sources.

The ministry further stated its intention to pursue legal action against those responsible for the unauthorized use of its name and logo.
