Paris: Paris Saint-Germain announced on Saturday the signing of Spanish international forward Ferran Torres from Barcelona on a contract extending until 2031. The player, who led Spain to victory in the 2026 World Cup, will wear the number 9 jersey for the Parisian club.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Torres, 26 years old, expressed his happiness at joining the Champions League winners, saying: “I am very happy to start a new adventure at an ambitious club like Paris Saint-Germain.”
