Baghdad: The Popular Mobilization Forces are reinforcing their deployment to secure the routes for visitors to the holy city of Samarra. A force from the Salah al-Din Operations Command of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) has reinforced its security deployment on roads and routes as part of the plan to secure the commemoration of the martyrdom of Imam Hassan al-Askari (peace be upon him).

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the PMF stated that the force expanded its deployment on the road to the holy city of Samarra to protect pilgrims, secure the movement of processions, and enhance security within its area of responsibility.
