Baghdad: The Ministry of Health is reaching out to the Ministry of Finance to secure job positions for individuals under the Medical Residency Law. This move is aimed at accommodating the remaining graduates from the 2022/2023, 2023/2024, and 2024/2025 cohorts.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a document from the Ministry of Health reveals a formal request to the Ministry of Finance. The request seeks the inclusion of job positions totaling 200,000 for those covered by the Medical Residency Law in the 2027 budget. The appeal underscores the need for strategic planning to address the employment demands of upcoming medical graduates.
