Coordination Framework Convenes to Discuss Regional and Global Developments


Baghdad: The Coordination Framework held its 289th regular meeting Monday evening at the office of Mr. Ammar al-Hakim to discuss the latest developments on the local and international scenes, in the presence of the Prime Minister. The meeting addressed service, economic, security, and stability issues.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the attendees assessed the situation in the region and the world to develop mechanisms for dealing with emergencies and capitalizing on the relative calm currently prevailing in the region.



The Coordination Framework conducted a brief evaluation of the government’s first 100 days, which will conclude this coming Friday. The attendees discussed the issue of restricting weapons to the state as a national demand and working towards achieving this through dialogue and understanding, coinciding with the end of the international coalition’s mission.



Additionally, the Coordination Framework condemned the terrorist attack on the headquarters of the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
