Baghdad: The Ministry of Industry and Minerals is spearheading a training initiative focusing on “Environment, Energy, and Safety” for its leadership and staff members. This course is being held with participation from various employees stationed at the Ministry’s headquarters and its related departments.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the training course, titled “Environment, Energy, and Safety: A Standard for Leadership and Staff Development,” aims to boost the participants’ knowledge and abilities in crucial areas such as environmental practices, energy conservation, and occupational safety. The course features presentations and in-depth lectures that emphasize the importance of adopting sound environmental practices, minimizing energy usage, and averting workplace hazards and accidents.
Spanning three days, the course is designed to cultivate effective leaders who are equipped with the essential awareness and skills to tackle issues related to environment, energy, and safety. The objective is
to employ these skills as practical tools to improve institutional performance, enhance work efficiency, and foster a safer, more sustainable work environment.
