Baghdad: Al-Sudani discusses with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs the development of diplomatic performance and the strengthening of Iraq’s external presence. The head of the Reconstruction and Development Coalition, Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, met with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Administrative and Technical Affairs, Dr. Abbas al-Anbouri, to discuss developing diplomatic performance and strengthening Iraq’s international presence.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from al-Sudani’s office highlighted the emphasis during the meeting on the importance of integrating efforts to develop the technical and administrative departments within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This is seen as a way to contribute to raising the efficiency of institutional performance and keeping pace with the requirements of the current stage.
Al-Sudani stressed the necessity of supporting and bolstering the work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, given its role in projecting Iraq’s independent voice and building balanced and fruitful partnerships and relations with countries around the world. He affirmed the continued support for national personnel working in the diplomatic and administrative corps.
Dr. al-Anbouri, for his part, expressed his gratitude for al-Sudani’s interest and directives aimed at strengthening joint institutional work. He affirmed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ commitment to developing its administrative and technical processes in a way that serves the supreme national interests.
