Nineveh: The Military Intelligence Directorate announced the arrest of two terrorists in Nineveh and Salah al-Din provinces.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Directorate stated that the arrests were made based on precise intelligence. Detachments from the Military Intelligence Directorate’s Intelligence and Security Departments of the 8th Mechanized Infantry Division and the 14th Infantry Division conducted separate operations to capture the individuals.

The operations involved well-coordinated ambushes that led to the arrest of the two wanted individuals, who had existing arrest warrants issued under Article (1/4) of the Counter-Terrorism Law. The arrested individuals have been handed over to the relevant authorities for the completion of necessary legal procedures against them.
