Baghdad:Speaker of the Iraqi Council of Representatives, Haibat al-Halbousi, and Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Ahmed Abdelatty underscored the necessity of coordinating their positions on regional and international issues of mutual interest during a meeting on Saturday.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Halbousi hosted Abdelatty for discussions that focused on enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation across various sectors, including parliamentary collaboration.

The talks also highlighted the need for increased cooperation among member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and emphasized efforts to promote stability and peace throughout the region.
