Diyala: A representative from Diyala has issued a stern warning to the governor, emphasizing that the marginalization of the Al-Jizani district will not be tolerated. Diyala MP Riyad al-Tamimi expressed his concerns regarding the Jizani al-Jul sub-district in the al-Khalis district, located north of Baquba, the capital of Diyala province.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Tamimi addressed Diyala Governor Adnan al-Shammari through a post on his Facebook page, insisting that the marginalization of Jizani al-Jul will not be accepted. He declared, “We will not allow you to marginalize Jizani al-Jul. It will remain, whether you like it or not, and your decisions will be scrutinized by the Council of Representatives and the Diyala Provincial Council… Enough with the targeting!”

The Diyala Governorate has announced the suspension of work on establishing the Jizani al-Jul sub-district, following a decision issued by the Ministry of Planning.
