Prime Minister’s Advisor Highlights September 30th as Key Date for National Sovereignty


Baghdad: The Prime Minister’s Advisor for Foreign Relations, Farhad Ala’a Al-Din, has underscored the importance of September 30th as a pivotal moment in enhancing national sovereignty. Ala’a Al-Din emphasized the significance of this date in the context of consolidating the state’s authority and responsibility over its security measures.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, Ala’a Al-Din remarked that the state’s exclusive control over weapons marks a transition into a new era. He highlighted that September 30th serves as a testament to the Iraqi state’s commitment to managing its security affairs effectively. Ala’a Al-Din further elaborated that the empowerment of state capabilities and the unification of security-related decision-making are crucial for ensuring stability.



He also pointed out that this milestone facilitates a new phase, emphasizing the consolidation of official institutions’ authority and the enhancement of Iraq’s relationships with international partners.
