Nineveh: The governor of Nineveh, Abdul Qadir al-Dakhil, led a significant conference titled “From Justice to Peace: The Voices of Nineveh’s Children and Their Future,” held on Saturday. The event was organized by the Iraqi Women Judges Association and aimed at addressing the critical issues surrounding the protection of children’s rights in the region.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the conference saw the participation of several key figures, including the President of the Nineveh Court of Appeals, Judge Raed Hamid al-Musleh, and the President of the Iraqi Women Judges Association, Judge Taghreed Abdul Majeed. A diverse group of judges, officials, and academic and social figures also attended the event, underscoring its importance.
The discussions centered around ways to safeguard children’s rights while amplifying their voices in society. Attendees explored the role of justice in fostering a safe and stable future for young people in Nineveh. Additionally, the conference emphasized the importance of peace, coexistence, and social reconciliation as foundational values for the community’s growth and stability.
