Baghdad: The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Haibat al-Halbousi, held a meeting with Taher Salem al-Baour, the envoy of the Libyan Government of National Unity, on Sunday. Al-Baour, who oversees the affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, was accompanied by a delegation to discuss bilateral relations between Iraq and Libya.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from al-Halbousi’s office highlighted that the discussions focused on enhancing cooperation at all levels, ultimately benefiting both nations. The meeting also underscored the significance of aligning positions in international forums on issues of mutual interest.
