Baghdad: Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein has reiterated Iraq’s commitment to continued dialogue and collaboration with the Russian Federation, focusing on serving the mutual interests of both nations. This affirmation was made during a meeting with Russian officials, including Dmitry Shugaev, Director of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation and former Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, and Alexander Mikheev, Director General of the State Corporation for Military Exports. The meeting, also attended by Albrus Kutrashev, the Russian Ambassador to Iraq, underscores the importance of strengthening bilateral relations.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Iraqi Foreign Minister welcomed the Russian delegation, highlighting the significance of ongoing dialogue and joint cooperation between Iraq and Russia. The discussions addressed various issues of common interest, with a focus on enhancing bilateral cooperation in light of current regional and international developments.
