Al-muqdadiyah: Pharmacies and a medical laboratory operating illegally were seized in Al-Muqdadiyah, Diyala. A joint team from the Diyala Health Department and detachments from the National Security Directorate seized three fake pharmacies and a fake medical laboratory during a joint evening inspection campaign carried out in the Al-Muqdadiya district, northeast of Baquba, the provincial capital.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Faris Al-Azzawi, Director of Media for the Diyala Health Department, informed that the necessary legal measures were taken against the violators and they were referred to the competent authorities in accordance with the established legal frameworks. The operation highlights ongoing efforts to combat illegal medical practices in the region.
