Tehran: Omani Foreign Minister Badr Al-Busaidi is set to visit Tehran tomorrow, Tuesday, to engage in ongoing consultations between Oman and Iran regarding the strategic Strait of Hormuz. The visit underscores the importance both countries place on maintaining dialogue to ensure the security and stability of this vital maritime corridor.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a delegation led by Pakistani Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir is visiting Tehran today, Monday. The delegation carries messages and proposals from the United States directed at reducing tensions with Iran to facilitate the resumption of negotiations. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghaei emphasized Pakistan’s mediating role between Washington and Tehran, with ongoing contacts aimed at conveying critical messages.

The Pakistani visit is expected to explore the possibility of initiating new rounds of talks and enhancing security cooperation between Iran and Pakistan. This cooperation will focus on border control, combating armed groups and smuggling, and preventing regional escalation, which are critical issues for both nations.
