Baghdad: An official source within the coordination framework announced that Shibl al-Zaydi’s recent inclusion has increased the total number of members in the framework to 14.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a responsible source within the Coordination Framework confirmed on Monday that the head of the Services Alliance, Shibl al-Zaydi, joined the framework following a consensus among its leaders. This decision is stated to be independent of any affiliation with Dr. Ahmed al-Asadi, head of the Sumerians Movement.

The source elaborated in a press release, noting that “the leaders of the Coordination Framework unanimously agreed on Shibl al-Zaydi’s joining the framework.” This strategic inclusion marks an increase in the membership to 14, following al-Zaydi’s acceptance into the group.

Additionally, the source emphasized that “Al-Zaydi’s joining is not related to Ahmed al-Asadi, but rather came as a result of a consensus decision made by the leaders of the Coordination Framework,” highlighting the collective agreement within the group.
