Baghdad: An oil leak from a pipeline, accompanied by a gas leak, has been reported in Kirkuk Governorate. The North Oil Company has confirmed the incident, stating that it occurred at the pipeline connected to well number 46 in the Khabbaz oil field. Necessary security and precautionary measures have been implemented to address the situation.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Energy Police have closed the road leading to the site of the incident. Movement of people and vehicles in the area has been prohibited to ensure the safety of workers and citizens and to prevent any potential risks. The road closure and security measures will remain in effect until the situation is fully controlled, the leak is stopped, and the area is secured by the relevant authorities.
