Baghdad: The Ministry of Interior announced on Tuesday the arrest of 14 individuals accused of various violations and the seizure of stamps and computers used in forgery in Baghdad.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior, Colonel Mohammed Ali Al-Hassoun, stated in a statement received by the agency: “The Baghdad Rusafa Police Command conducted a security operation and a campaign to apprehend violators of residency regulations and other offenses in various areas of the Rusafa district of Baghdad.”

“The operation resulted in the arrest of 14 individuals accused of various violations, including one person caught in the act. Thirteen forged stamps, 192 stamp molds, and six computers used in forgery operations were seized from him, in addition to the discovery of a warehouse selling alcoholic beverages,” he added.

“Legal measures have been taken against the accused and violators in accordance with the law,” he stated.
