Hilla: Security forces arrested a suspect in Hillah, the capital of Babylon Governorate, for circulating counterfeit currency. Babylon Police Media Director, Colonel Ammar al-Shammari, stated, “The suspect was apprehended in a well-planned ambush while attempting to use and circulate counterfeit 25,000 Iraqi dinar banknotes in several shops.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the suspect, an employee residing in Baghdad, confessed to the crime, and counterfeit money was found in his possession.
