Nasiriyah: The Ministry of Transport confirms the continued progress of the Nasiriyah International Airport project and its handover at the beginning of next year. According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Transport announced that the completion rate of the Nasiriyah International Airport project has reached advanced stages, with its handover expected at the beginning of next year, provided that work continues at the same pace without obstacles and according to the established timelines.

The ministry stated in a press release that the percentage of work completed at Nasiriyah Airport has reached 68% so far and is increasing rapidly and steadily following the arrival of new shipments of ground handling equipment. The specialized team will travel to China to conduct factory inspections, and daily work on the project continues without interruption.

The ministry explained that all the problems affecting the progress of the work have been overcome for the time being, and that the company is in the process of preparing a new contract addendum to address the identified obstacles.
