Baghdad: Osasuna and Levante both earned their first point of the Spanish league season after a goalless draw in their match on Monday evening, part of the second round of the competition.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Osasuna failed to capitalize on home advantage and 10 attacking attempts throughout the two halves. Despite their efforts, they could not find a way past Levante’s Australian goalkeeper, Mathew Ryan, who was outstanding, saving his net from seven attempts by the home side.

Osasuna’s goalkeeper, Sergio Herrera, was also present, making two saves to ensure his team did not concede. The match saw both teams struggling to break the deadlock, resulting in a sharing of the points.

Looking ahead, Osasuna will visit Celta Vigo next Thursday in a postponed match from the first round, a decision made by La Liga. Meanwhile, Levante, who began the season with a heavy 3-0 defeat against Espanyol, will host Real Betis next Saturday in the third round.
