Tehran: The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zaidan, arrived in Tehran at the head of a judicial delegation on an official visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran at the invitation of the Head of the Iranian Judiciary, Gholam Hossein Mohseni Ejei. Zaidan will hold talks with Iranian officials on judicial cooperation and issues of mutual interest.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the delegation accompanying Zaidan includes the Head of the Judicial Supervision Authority, the Head of the Public Prosecution Service, and the Director General of the Judicial Protection Department. Upon arrival in Tehran, Zaidan was received by the Deputy Head of the Judiciary for International Affairs and the Secretary of the Human Rights Commission in the Judiciary, Nasser Siraj.
