Tehran: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian affirmed on Tuesday that ending the war and preserving unity are among the Iranian government’s top priorities. Pezeshkian addressed these issues during a press conference, highlighting the strategic focus of his administration.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Pezeshkian stated, “Ending the war and preserving unity are among my government’s top priorities,” expressing concerns over external attempts to destabilize the nation. He remarked, “The enemies have realized they cannot subdue us militarily, so they have focused on stirring up social issues and economic discontent.”

Pezeshkian further clarified the rationale behind recent diplomatic actions, noting, “The signing of the memorandum of understanding was not born of fear or surrender, but rather based on logic and awareness.” This stance reflects the administration’s commitment to safeguarding national interests while addressing both internal and external challenges.
