Baghdad: The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Dr. Faiq Zaidan, held a meeting with Joshua Harris, the Charg© d’Affaires of the US Embassy in Iraq, to discuss judicial procedures in the wake of the completion of the international coalition’s mission in Iraq.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussions focused on the judicial measures related to entities and individuals carrying arms in violation of the constitution and law. The meeting also covered the mechanisms necessary for enforcing the rule of law for all, following the international coalition’s mission conclusion on September 30th.
