Baghdad: The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Farhad Amin Atroushi, met with the Brazilian Ambassador to Iraq, Alfredo Leoni, to explore opportunities for enhancing bilateral relations and developing cooperation in parliamentary, economic, and investment sectors between Iraq and Brazil.

According to Iraqi News Agency, a press release from the media office of the Deputy Speaker highlighted that Atrushi hosted Ambassador Leoni at his official office in Baghdad. The meeting centered on strategies to bolster bilateral relations and expand collaborative efforts between the two nations.

The discussions also emphasized the role of Brazilian companies in contributing to Iraq’s reconstruction and infrastructure projects. Both parties expressed interest in leveraging Brazilian expertise and experience in various fields to advance mutual interests and cooperation that benefit both countries.
