Liverpool Finalise Transfer Agreement to Sign Bradley Barcola from PSG

Liverpool: Liverpool have finalized an agreement to sign Bradley Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain. The Merseyside club will pay a package worth £106 million (pound 125m) plus add-ons potentially rising to £17 million (pound 20m) for the 23-year-old forward.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the France international is set to sign a five-year contract with Andoni Iraola’s side, with a medical expected to take place in the next 24 hours. As part of the agreement, Liverpool will make an additional £4.3 million (pound 5m) solidarity payment for Barcola, covering the costs of the sell-on fee which Lyon negotiated with PSG upon his move in 2023.

Barcola had been identified as a key target for Liverpool to help replace Mohamed Salah, who departed at the end of last season. Despite having two years left on his PSG contract, Barcola had been committed to an Anfield move. A breakthrough in negotiations, helmed by sporting director Richard Hughes, Liverpool CEO Billy Hogan, and Fenway Sports Group president Mike Gordon for Liverpool and Nasser Al-Khelaifi for PSG, came after the Merseyside club held key talks on Tuesday to bring clarity over the proposed transfer.
