Baghdad: Deputy Speaker of Parliament Farhad Amin Atroushi met with the Brazilian Ambassador to Iraq, Alfredo Leoni, to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral relations and develop parliamentary, economic, and investment cooperation between the two countries.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Deputy Speaker’s office stated: “Atroushi received the Brazilian Ambassador at his official office in Baghdad. During the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of expanding the horizons of joint cooperation, the contribution of Brazilian companies to reconstruction and infrastructure development projects, and benefiting from Brazilian expertise in various fields that serve mutual interests.”
